Expert Speaker
Dr Desirée Kozlowski
Associate Professor, Southern Cross University, Lead Researcher for The National
Pleasure Audit
Dr Desirée Kozlowski has been fascinated by the link between pleasure and health since childhood, and—after a neurospicy career touching on everything from hosting singles dinners to corporate management—she now researches and publishes on the topic.
As lead investigator on the National Pleasure Audit (Australia), Desirée explored how everyday pleasures influence well-being. This year, her team is testing the effects of a single online psychoeducation session on outcomes including subjective well-being, depression, anxiety, and resilience.
A passionate science communicator, Desirée loves sharing insights into the transformative power of small pleasures.
